Cambodia & Human Trafficking

Today, the class looked at the country of Cambodia and some of the modern day slavery taking place within the countries borders. Students compared and contrasted Cambodia's situation to other modern slavery examples examined this unit. Following the comparisons, the class discussed the importance of media and exposure of situations to create change, and created individual posters for awareness.

REMINDERS:

1) Country presentations are due Friday (at the start of class). Presentations should be emailed to jpope@pps.net before class Friday morning. If you are concerned about technological difficulties? E-mail your presentation earlier in the week to make sure your presentation will work on Friday.
